Avoid Malls when Bored!
That goes for lonely, sad, celebrating etc ... Shopping as entertainment is a enormous waste of time and money. Your buying things to keep busy not because you actual need it. There are so many other things you could be doing that won't make you broke and feel guilty afterwords.
Trying taking a class about something you've always wanted to learn. Volunteer to help clean up your local park or help at a homeless center. Hit the library to find a new hobby.
Invest in yourself instead of more stuff you're wallet and the environment will Thank You!

I can't say malls are all bad - I like them for walking laps indoors when the weather is crap. It's fun to people-watch while walking.
I agree they are a great place to get a work out when the weather is bad. Just make sure you leave your credit card at home to prevent impulse purchases.
