Quick Tip Of The Day
Well it's been a while and obviously I didn't do so well with my New Years resolution though the weight is coming off. Since it's never too late in the year to do better I'm going to be offering a daily quick tip to go along with my normal posts. These tips will be things you can start doing immediately to save money and the environment. Hopefully you will find them as useful as I do.
Quick Tip 1: Take it with you.... Your lunch that is! My hubby use to spend about $5 a day on lunches at work that would consist of a soda and some soup or salad. He was trying to eat as cheap as possible. Now I spend about 5 bucks a week on his lunches consisting of salads and healthy leftovers. I try to make sure I don't give him the leftovers from the night before so he's not getting the same thing two days in a row. That is approximately $20 in savings. I can think of a lot of things I would rather be doing with that cash.
Wanna knock up the savings even more?
Take your coffee with you too! Invest in a good thermos, one large enough to hold however much coffee you would normally buy. Even if you buy the flavored creamers to go with it you will be saving a veritable fortune throughout the year.
